Solicitors practice - City of London (400 Employees)
The practice has two large offices and two high street sites, so chose 123BCP Premium version as several different plans were required. Multiple web systems were purchased so that each plan could
be available from the web at all times.
Although the company employs 400 staff - the Premium version was chosen over the Corporate version as each site and plan involved no more than 150 staff.
123BCP staff spent half a day installing the software on a server (thus making it accessible to all sites via Windows remote desktop) and instructed key staff on how to use the software.
The plan administrator started to migrate the current business continuity plans (Word documents) across to 123BCP using
the import routines. Existing key documents that had been created in Word
& Excel were simply cross-referenced to the the relevant groups and staff within the 123BCP plans.
Template plans were created for specific departments that wanted to produce and control their own planning. These templates contained some compulsory tasks and considerations while offering the flexibility to produce a more customised plan by those departments.
The plan administrator then created a single plan template for the high street offices and instructed
the staff at those offices how to complete the plans.
In the event of a disaster staff would be moved to existing offices so the new "Resources" feature
was used to match people to existing resources (desks/PC's etc.)
123BCP staff assisted throughout the process with IT issues, equipment valuations and specific insurance queries, training and support.
